My human mom used to only want a purebred dog. that means a dog with a mommy and daddy who come from the same breed. She was clueless about those of us who come from a mixture of dogs. She didn’t know how smart, friendly, and sweet we are.
The proof came when she met me and fell in love. I taught her that it’s about the dog, not the purebreed. Now she loves mixed breeds as well as purebreds. We even have a new little sister who is a Chi-Peek-a-Boo or something like that. Who knows? Who cares? Whatever!
