We cats usually do a good job of grooming ourselves, but we could use extra help with our ears. A quick wipe with a cotton ball dipped in ear-cleaning stuff made just for cats will usually do the trick.
If ears are red, swollen, or smelly, we could have an ear infection and that hurts! If black stuff comes out, we could have tiny, tiny bugs called mites. They are nasty! Your vet will know just the right medicine to treat them.
