Some cats don’t like to be brushed or bathed in any way. But just like you, we really need to be clean too. It’s best to start when we are kittens, so we get used to it.
At first, just run the brush lightly down out backs, or lift one front paw and hold it for a few seconds. You can also give us treats or play with us afterwards, and that way we’ll learn that grooming is a good thing!
Be patient with older cats who have never been groomed before. Oh, and don’t forget the treats!
